Printmaker, designer, painter and teacher, Sheila Robinson studied at Nottingham School of Art and the Royal College or Art, where she met and married Bernard Cheese. She moved to Great Bardfield in 1957 and shortly after joined the staff of the Royal College of Art where she taught until 1988.
